Almost too hard to describe and I guess the reason for that is we don't taste enough red Burgundy at this quality level often enough

I was blown away by the 2016 Château Marquis d'Alesme Becker on each of the three times I was able to taste it

with aromas of black fruit that are crisp and clean

Aroma very balanced with flavours of dried fruit
